By plane, you can travel from Stockholm to Kiruna in about 90 minutes. From Kiruna, you can continue your journey to Björkliden by either bus, train, or car. The transfer between Kiruna and Björkliden also takes around 90 minutes, so it takes no more than about four hours from Stockholm to Björkliden.

Board the train in the evening in Stockholm or Gothenburg and wake up in a fantastic mountain environment the next day. You arrive in Björkliden around lunchtime. VY Sverige operates the route, and the journey between Stockholm and Björkliden takes about 18 hours. From the train station in Björkliden, it’s only a few hundred meters to Hotel Fjället.

Drive north on E4, turn left in Töre, and then continue on E10 towards Kiruna and Narvik. You’ll find us just before the Norwegian border. If you have an electric car, you can charge it at Hotel Fjället.
