Cave adventure - K\u00e5ppasjokk caves<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Join us on an unforgettable journey underground - an adventure filled with excitement, the forces of nature and unique formations! In the K\u00e5ppasjokk Caves you will experience the shaping power of water, explore narrow passages and magnificent halls, and feel life far below the surface.<\/p>\n

We start with a hike of about 2.5 km from the hotel through the birch forest up to the cave. During the trip, the guide tells us about the flora, fauna and landscape of the mountains. Once at the cave, we change into coveralls, helmets and headlamps - then it's off into the depths.<\/p>\n

The cave system has two different entrances, only twenty meters apart but with completely different characters. We walk standing up, crawl through narrow passages and pass underground streams and mighty rooms adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. If conditions are good, we explore both entrances - and between descents, we pause with a well-deserved coffee at the jok.<\/p>\n

This adventure is suitable for those with good physical abilities and an adventurous spirit of discovery. The recommended minimum age is 8 years.<\/p>\n

Available: <\/b>Thursdays and Saturdays, July 2-October 3, 2026<\/p>\n

Time spent: <\/b>About four hours, 14:00-18:00<\/p>\n

Distance and height:<\/b> Approx. 5 km in total, +100 altitude meters, -100 altitude meters<\/p>\n

Meeting place:<\/b> Outside the Sports Shop in Bj\u00f6rkliden<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Number of participants:<\/b> 2-12 people. If there are less than two registered participants, we reserve the right to cancel the tour<\/p>\n

Price: <\/b>795 kr per person<\/p>\n

Included:<\/b> Guide, overalls, helmet, headlamp, rubber boots, gloves and snacks<\/p>\n

Packing list: <\/b>A water bottle, hiking boots (preferably with a shaft that goes over the ankle), a rain jacket, rain pants, a warm jacket or extra thick sweater, a hat, gloves, a buff or scarf and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Other:<\/b> It's constantly cool in the caves, so remember to bring extra clothes even if it's hot outside!<\/p>\n

In the K\u00e5ppasjokk Cave, you'll explore fascinating rock formations and experience what life underground is really like.<\/p>\n
