Cave adventure - K\u00e5ppasjokk caves<\/strong><\/h3>\n


<\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00f6lj med p\u00e5 en of\u00f6rgl\u00f6mlig resa under jord \u2013 ett \u00e4ventyr fyllt av sp\u00e4nning, naturens krafter och unika formationer! I K\u00e5ppasjokkgrottorna f\u00e5r du uppleva vattnets formande kraft, utforska tr\u00e5nga passager och storslagna salar, och k\u00e4nna p\u00e5 livet l\u00e5ngt under markytan.<\/p>\n

We start with a hike of about 2.5 km from the hotel through the birch forest up to the cave. During the trip, the guide tells us about the flora, fauna and landscape of the mountains. Once at the cave, we change into coveralls, helmets and headlamps - then it's off into the depths.<\/p>\n

The cave system has two different entrances, only twenty meters apart but with completely different characters. We walk standing up, crawl through narrow passages and pass underground streams and mighty rooms adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. If conditions are good, we explore both entrances - and between descents, we pause with a well-deserved coffee at the jok.<\/p>\n

Cave Adventure \u2013 The K\u00e5ppasjokk caves<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Get ready for an unforgettable journey beneath the surface - a thrilling adventure through narrow tunnels, underground streams, and majestic caverns carved by the power of water. In the K\u00e5ppasjokk Cave, you'll explore fascinating rock formations and experience what life underground is really like.<\/p>\n

We begin with a scenic 2.5 km hike from the hotel through birch forest. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the surrounding nature and landscape. At the cave entrance, we gear up with coveralls, helmet, and headlamp - then it's time to head into the darkness.<\/p>\n

The cave system has two distinct entrances, just 20 meters apart but surprisingly different in character. Inside, we walk upright, crouch, and for the brave - even crawl through tighter passages. We'll pass underground streams and magnificent halls adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. Conditions allowing, we'll explore both cave entrances, with a well-earned snack break by the stream in between.<\/p>\n

This adventure is perfect for those in good physical condition with an adventurous mind. Recommended minimum age is 8 years.<\/p>\n

What to bring:<\/b> Water bottle, hiking boots (preferably a model that covers your ankles), rain jacket, rain pants, a warm jacket or thick sweater, beanie, gloves, scarf and sunglasses.<\/p>\n
