Day trip by tracked vehicle to L\u00e5ktatj\u00e5kko Mountain Station<\/b><\/p>\n

We travel up to the station by tracked wagon, alternatively in sleds behind snowmobiles. We travel through magnificent mountain environment with fantastic views. On the way to the station, if the weather permits, you stop and get out of the bandwagon to enjoy the view and take some pictures. Once at the mountain station, you can buy a coffee or just enjoy the fresh mountain air. If you want to take nice photos to remember your day, this is a good opportunity. The activity gives you an insight into what it looks like in our mountain world and is suitable for all ages. No physical skills are required. When the break is over, the tour will go back down to Bj\u00f6rkliden.<\/p>\n

The snowmobile starts from Hotell Fj\u00e4llet at 9:30 to drive up the mountain where the bandwagon is waiting, which is expected to be at L\u00e5ktatj\u00e5kko Fj\u00e4llstation at about 11:00. Then the tour goes down to Bj\u00f6rkliden again at 12:30.<\/p>\n

NOTE! Previously, the bandwagon has departed from Hotell Fj\u00e4llet at 10:00. Due to the snow situation, the snowmobile will depart from Hotell Fj\u00e4llet at 9:30 for the trip up the mountain, where the journey will continue with the tracked carriage. The start of the tour is thus brought forward by 30 minutes from Thursday, April 23 and the rest of the season 2026. Thank you for your understanding!<\/p>\n

Please have your reservation ready to show the driver when boarding the bandwagon, your reservation is your ticket.  <\/b><\/p>\n

Staying overnight at L\u00e5kta Mountain Station?<\/p>\n

If you have booked accommodation at L\u00e5kta and do not want to go up on your own via skis, snowshoes or snowmobile, we can recommend the bandwagon. If you travel in the bandwagon, the ticket is valid for a return trip on the same day. If you are staying overnight at L\u00e5ktatj\u00e5kko mountain station, you will need to buy a new ticket for the downhill route, which departs at 12:30.<\/p>\n

If the bandwagon becomes full, it is possible to book an interpreter via the booking department at bokning@laplandresorts.se<\/a> or 0980 - 641 00. You then interpret behind the belt carriage \u201dsitting\u201d on a button similar to those in button lifts.<\/p>\n

When interpreting after the bandwagon, the following applies: minimum age 12 years and everyone must wear a helmet. Helmets are available for rent in the Sports Shop.<\/p>\n

Recommended equipment for interpretation is alpine gear. Dress warmly as it can get very cold on the way up. (Imagine standing in a lift in the snow for about 60 minutes. Weather conditions can change up on the bare mountain).<\/p>\n

If there are 4 or fewer people booked on the tour, it is run with snowmobile and toboggan. Helmet and snowmobile overalls are then available to borrow.   <\/p>\n

Dogs are not allowed in the bandwagon.<\/p>\n

Sledges\/snowshoes, mountain boots and larger luggage are taken along subject to availability.<\/p>\n
