Arktiskt snöskoäventyr
Följ med på en halvdagstur på snöskor, där vi tar tillvara på de få timmar dagsljus vi bjuds på under polarnatten. Vi tar oss upp på fjället för att uppleva Björklidens häpnadsväckande utsikt och vackra fjällmiljö. En fjälltur på snöskor som varierar något i längd och svårighetsgrad beroende på väder såväl som gruppens dagsform och önskemål.
Turen är vanligtvis mellan 4-6 km lång, och passar dig som aldrig gått på snöskor innan såväl som dig som provat förut. Under turens gång tar vi en välförtjänt paus och njuter av utsikten, eller kanske går vi in i en av våra träkåtor om det är väder för en inomhusfika. Guiden berättar om livet i fjällen och om dess spännande natur och djurliv.

Arctic Snowshoe Adventure
Join us for a half-day snowshoe adventure where we make the most of the few daylight hours offered during the polar night. We head up into the mountains to take in Björkliden’s breathtaking views and stunning Arctic landscape. This snowshoe hike varies slightly in length and difficulty depending on the weather, as well as the group’s energy and preferences.
The tour is usually between 4-6 km long and is suitable for both beginners and those who’ve tried snowshoeing before. Along the way, we take a well-deserved break to enjoy the view — or, if the weather calls for it, we step inside one of our wooden huts for a cozy fika. Your guide will share stories about life in the mountains, as well as the fascinating nature and wildlife of the area.
Availability: Tuesdays and Fridays, 12 December 2025-2 January 2026
Duration: Three hours, 9:00-12:00
Meeting point: The front desk at Hotell Fjället in Björkliden
Participants: 3-12 people. At least three people must participate for this activity to take place
Price: 795 SEK per adult, 445 SEK per child (7-15 years)

Good to know
Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.
Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!
Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.
Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.
Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.
Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.
Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.
Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.
On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities canceled at least 24 hours in advance will give a full refund unless otherwise stated that the payment is binding on, for example, specific courses.
