Do you fly drones? Help us keep the skies safe!

The Swedish Armed Forces and Kallax Flyg AB provide information:

  • Kallax Flyg AB carries out helicopter missions in the area at various times during the year.
  • The Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Wing conducts periodic training during the spring and fall in the area, times vary and the information goes out well in advance via NOTAM.

The helicopters move at different altitudes and times depending on the weather and type of mission.

As helicopters often fly at low altitudes and have limited avoidance capabilities, unplanned encounters with drones can be fatal.

Are you going to fly drones? Remember that:

  • Always check airspace restrictions before take-off.
  • Maintain visual contact with your drone at all times.
  • Keep a safe distance from manned aircraft.
  • Make sure your flight does not interfere with ongoing missions.

Read up on the rules at the Swedish Transport Agency: www.transportstyrelsen.se/dronare.

If you have any questions, please contact Kallax Flyg on 0980-81 000 or info@kallaxflyg.se. Thank you for your consideration!
