To step into the Rakka hut is to be embraced by warmth, the scent of wood smoke and a community that only arises around a living fire. Here we sit close, just as they have always done in the north, while the shadows dance against the walls of the hut. It is intimate, rustic and genuine in a way that is felt right into the heart.

Men Rakkaskåtan är inte bara en plats för vinterns magiska kvällar. Även under sommaren öppnar sig en helt annan sida av upplevelsen. När midnattssolen lyser över landskapet och naturen står i full blom blir kåtans omgivningar en lika stämningsfull plats för gemenskap, god mat och långa sommarkvällar.

What makes the Rakka hut unique is the contact with the space above. Through the specially designed windows in the roof, you have a front row seat to the Arctic night sky. While you enjoy your dinner, the stars can sparkle above you, and if you're lucky, the Northern Lights can begin their magical dance in green and violet, right above the dining table.
