VILDMARKSKLUBBEN
Barnen är viktiga för oss i Björkliden! Därför har vi skapat barnens egna klubb, där barnen får lite egen tid utan föräldrar och möjligheten att prova på roliga friluftsaktiviteter och lära sig mer om livet i fjällen tillsammans med andra barn och våra guider.
Vi lär oss om naturen och livet i fjällen, så som att göra upp eld eller utforska vilka djur och växter som finns i området kring Björkliden. Vi väver in nya kunskaper i en lekfull och spännande atmosfär när vi provar på olika friluftsaktiviteter som till exempel att baka pinnbröd över elden, bygga vindskydd eller orientera oss i naturen.

Time spent: Två timmar, 13:00-15:00
Meeting place: Sportinformationsrummet i lobbyn på Hotell Fjället i Björkliden

Other: Lämmelklubben vänder sig till barn mellan 4-11 år, men du kan även ta med ett äldre syskon om du inte vill komma ensam! Ta med kläder för att kunna vara utomhus och leka i snön.

THE WILDERNESS CLUB
The children are important to us here in Björkliden, which is why we created the children’s Wilderness Club! This is a club for everyone aged 4-11, and is a chance for the children to get a break from their parents to try out new exciting outdoor activities and learn more about life in the Swedish mountains, all together with other children and our guides.
We learn about nature and life in the mountains in a playful environment adapted to the group. We could for example learn how to make fire or discover which animals and plants that live in and around Björkliden, or try baking bread over the open fire, build snow caves or navigate in nature.
Availability: Wednesdays and Saturdays, December 13, 2025-January 3, 2026
Duration: Approx. two hours, 13:00-15:00
Meeting point: The sport information lounge in the lobby of Hotell Fjället in Björkliden
Participants: 1-12 people
Price: 50 SEK per child

Please note: The Lemming Club is for children aged 4–11, but you’re welcome to bring an older sibling along if you don’t want to come on your own! Bring warm clothes to make sure you can be outside in the snow for two hours. Please note that all children need to be able to speak Swedish or English to be able to communicate with the guide!

About Activities
Good to know
Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.
Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!
Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.
Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.
Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.
Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.
Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.
Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.
On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities canceled at least 24 hours in advance will give a full refund unless otherwise stated that the payment is binding on, for example, specific courses.
