Wilderness Club
Children are important to us at Björkliden! That's why we've created the Kids' Club, where kids get some time to themselves without parents and the opportunity to try out fun outdoor activities and learn more about life in the mountains with other kids and our guides.
We learn about nature and life in the mountains, such as making a fire or exploring what animals and plants are in the area around Björkliden. We weave new knowledge into a playful and exciting atmosphere as we try out different outdoor activities such as baking breadsticks over the fire, building shelters or finding our way in nature.
Available: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, June 30-October 2, 2026
Time spent: Two hours, 10:30-12:30
Meeting place: Outside the Sports Shop in Björkliden
Number of participants: 1-12 children
Price: SEK 50 per child

Other: Lämmel Club is for children aged 4-11, but you can also bring an older sibling if you don't want to come alone! Bring clothes to be able to be outside and play whatever the weather

The Wilderness Club
The children are important to us here in Björkliden, which is why we created the children's Wilderness Club! This is a club for everyone aged 4-11, and is a chance for the children to get a break from their parents to try out new exciting outdoor activities and learn more about life in the Swedish mountains, all together with other children and our guides.
We learn about nature and life in the mountains in a playful environment adapted to the group. We could for example learn how to make fire or discover which animals and plants that live in and around Björkliden, try baking bread over the open fire or navigate in nature.
Availability: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, June 30th-October 2nd, 2026
Duration: About two hours, 10:30-12:30
Meeting point: Outside the sports shop in Björkliden
Participants: 1-12 children
Price: 50 SEK per child

Please note: The Lemming Club is for children aged 4-11, but you're welcome to bring an older sibling along if you don't want to come on your own! Bring warm clothes to make sure you can be outside for two hours regardless of the weather. Please note that all children need to be able to speak Swedish or English to be able to communicate with the guide!

About Activities
Good to know
Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.
Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!
Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.
Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.
Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.
Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.
Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.
Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.
On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities that are canceled 29 days from the date of the activity's implementation give a full refund, up to 24h before implementation, 10% refund is given. Within 24h or in case of no-show, no refund will be given unless otherwise stated as payment is binding for example for specific courses.
