A gentle winter journey through the Arctic landscape

Start your day the Arctic way. Join us for a slow and soulful morning in the snowy wilderness of Abisko. This guided snowshoe tour invites you to experience nature with curiosity, respect, and the time to truly be present.

We don’t take exactly the same route every day. The route changes depending on the weather, the snow, and what nature has in store for us that morning. Your guide carefully selects the route each day, leading you to the places where the Arctic morning comes most alive.

Moving at a calm, comfortable pace, we make room for silence, sweeping views, and the small details that are often overlooked. Along the way, we share stories about Abisko, local life, and the Arctic environment—always grounded in respect for the land and its people.

Our modern snowshoes make walking in deep snow surprisingly easy and enjoyable. Whether it’s your first time in winter conditions or you’re already an experienced outdoor enthusiast, this tour is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and deeply memorable.

About Activities

Good to know

Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.

Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!

Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.

Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.

Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.

Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.

Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.

Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.

On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities that are canceled 29 days from the date of the activity's implementation give a full refund, up to 24h before implementation, 10% refund is given. Within 24h or in case of no-show, no refund will be given unless otherwise stated as payment is binding for example for specific courses.
