Arctic Mountain Fishing with guide

Join us for an unforgettable fishing experience in magnificent mountain nature!

The tour starts with a short drive to one of our selected fishing waters. Then we hike at a leisurely pace through quiet forests and mountain heath to the day's fishing spot. Here the guide gives tips on technique and shows good places to fish from - always with the goal that you should feel safe and inspired to cast out.

Once you get started, the guide sneaks away to light a fire or start the storm kitchen. Soon the smell of freshly brewed coffee will spread across the lake - and with a little luck we'll also grill a freshly caught grayling or trout directly over an open fire. Is there anything better than hot coffee and fresh fish in the wilderness?

We usually fish with a casting rod, but fly fishing can sometimes be arranged if requested in advance. The trip is suitable for the whole family - but remember that we are out in nature all the time, so dress for the weather and pack accordingly.

Participants: Minimum 3, maximum 8 persons

Level of difficulty: Easy - about 2-4 km round trip hike.

Guided Fishing in the Arctic

Join us for an unforgettable fishing adventure in the heart of Arctic mountain nature!

We begin with a short scenic drive to one of our carefully selected lakes. From there, we'll hike peacefully through forest and tundra to the fishing spot. Along the shore, your guide will introduce techniques, offer advice, and point out some of the best places to cast your line.

Once everyone is settled in, the guide will prepare a fire or camp stove. Soon, the aroma of freshly brewed traditional Swedish coffee fills the air. With a little luck, we might even grill a freshly caught trout or grayling right over the fire. Fresh fish and hot coffee by a mountain lake - it doesn't get more authentic than this.

We usually fish with spinning rods, but fly fishing can sometimes be arranged upon request in advance. This is a great experience for families - just remember we'll be outdoors the entire time, so dress accordingly.

About Activities

Good to know

Each activity has a level of difficulty described below. We always adapt the pace to the group to ensure everyone has a great experience.

Relaxing: this is not exhausting at all, on the contrary!

Slow pace: Can be compared to a light walk. As a participant, you can often adapt the effort to your own level.

Moderate: This level of exertion requires a little more from you as a participant. At this level, it is more often a matter of endurance rather than great physical effort, but we recommend a normal level of fitness.

Demanding: This level often requires both willpower and higher physical fitness. We recommend that you talk to our knowledgeable staff in the sports shop if you are unsure.

Quite a challenge: This level requires a lot from you as a participant. You should be both strong and confident behind the brow bone - at this level we will always ensure your suitability before completing the activity.

Depending on the activity, breaks may or may not be included, but we can always make sure to take a break if you need to.

Once booked, the activity will be entered into our system and you will receive a confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation will give you more information.

On our guided activities we have no specific cancellation protection, but all activities that are canceled 29 days from the date of the activity's implementation give a full refund, up to 24h before implementation, 10% refund is given. Within 24h or in case of no-show, no refund will be given unless otherwise stated as payment is binding for example for specific courses.
