For those who wish to enjoy refreshments, the bar is simple but well-stocked. Cold and hot, fortifying drinks are served here. Choose a warming beverage to sip in the cozy common room, or a beer to toast a successful day in the mountains.

Imagine stepping in from the cold and being met by the scent of freshly baked waffles and steaming coffee—a signature of the Låktatjåkko Mountain Station. But the evenings offer more for those staying overnight. You will be treated to a well-prepared two-course dinner connected to local and wild ingredients—just like the place we are in. A cozy break from everyday life, where every bite tells a story.
A night in the mountains.
Step into history. Our rooms are simple, rustic and filled with the unique scent of old wood and mountain adventures. There are no unnecessary distractions here – just a pleasant atmosphere and classic beds that promise deep, restorative sleep.
Your overnight stay includes a two-course dinner where the staff tells anecdotes and stories about the area through time. In the morning, a generous mountain breakfast is served so that you can recharge your batteries for the day.
Please note! Bed linen is not included in the accommodation due to limited laundry facilities. We recommend that you bring your own bed linen or pre-book this for your stay online or on site in Björkliden, before you head to the mountain station.

Our comfortable Snowcat is an easy and convenient way to reach the cabin. Lean back, enjoy the magnificent view, and feel the wingbeats of history—this is the method of transport that gives you comfortable freedom.
The Snowcat departs from Björkliden at 10:00 AM.
The return journey from Låktatjåkko to Björkliden departs at 12:30 PM.
