Saturday, March 29
An intimate and unique evening with Nathalie “Cleo” Missaoui – a close and stripped-down encounter with the music and the stories behind the songs.
Although Cleo has long been one of the most important and multifaceted voices on the Swedish hip-hop scene, her album Missaoui, released in 2022, is actually her first full-length album in Swedish. But Missaoui is far from a debut album—at least in spirit. Overflowing with experience, wisdom, pain, and, simply, life, Cleo has created a powerfully vibrant magnum opus.
Cleo has been praised for both her live performances and her commanding, uncompromising artistic expression. In 2023, she won Hip-Hop of the Year at the Swedish Grammis Awards for her album Missaoui—but her success didn’t stop there. She was also nominated for Guldmicken for the third time, won Lyricist of the Year at the Manifest Gala, and was awarded Composer of the Year when the Swedish Music Publishers honored the country’s best works and artists of the year.
On Saturday, March 29, Cleo comes to Björkliden, accompanied by her music companions, brothers Linus and Hannes Hasselberg, known for their productions for artists like Monica Maac. This will be a unique evening at Pub Rallaren, where Cleo’s music will be performed fully acoustic and in an intimate, stripped-down setting for the very first time!
