SUMMIT HIKING IN NORWAY
After about an hour’s drive from Björkliden, we reach several beautiful summit hikes in our neighboring country Norway. A majestic coastal landscape where the cliffs rise like seals from the sea and give us breathtaking views. We park next to the road and start our hike, the destination for the day varies from tour to tour and is adapted to the group as well as external circumstances. Regardless of the tour, we can expect a trip of about 10 – 15 km and 300 – 600 meters of altitude, which requires some physical ability as we are in motion for much of the day and move uphill. We will take a lunch break on the way up if needed, or enjoy lunch from the top of the mountain before continuing our hike back down. Before heading back to Björkliden, we will, weather permitting, stop by the sea or one of Norway’s many beautiful mountain lakes for a swim if you wish.
